I'm a recent graduate of the California Institute of Technology in Economics and Computer Science. I was also accepted at Harvard, Princeton, MIT, and Stanford. I have a broad range of interests spanning science, math, engineering, social science, the humanities, the arts, and athletics (I also played on the Caltech basketball team). My background allows me to tutor general college prep, especially the SAT, ACT and the GRE. I love to teach analytical thinking, ranging from advanced Math and Physics to strategies for understanding literature and developing arguments.

I am a recent graduate of Princeton University's Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department. I am passionate about teaching and mentoring and have done so in multiple capacities over the last four years, including a fellowship during which I taught pre-algebraic math to a group of middle school students from traditionally underserved backgrounds in Saint Paul, MN. I love interacting with students and seeing them grow over the course of their studies. I'm ecstatic at the opportunity to learn alongside them as we venture into educational rabbit holes and uncover key concepts about math, science, and everything else.
I am graduated from Penn State University in Industrial Engineering in 2017. I've tutored ever since I was in high school, and I love helping people! I like to help my students understand math (and other topics) instead of just doing it blindly. My goal is to help my students improve their math (and other topics) and build skills that will help them find learning easier in the future! Fun fact, I used to work for Disney and I like to salsa dance!
I am a Senior at the University of Florida studying Industrial Engineering and Statistics. My areas of expertise include Statistics, High School and College level Math, and Government. I emphasize maintaining trust and steady communication with my students to maintain a healthy and comfortable learning environment. I believe developing micro-goals and positively reinforcing students help them stay motivated and excited.
I am currently a sophomore at New York University studying Mathematics. Math and science have always fascinated me due to their application towards everyday technology. Along with economics, these are my favorite subjects to tutor because they involve concrete answers deeply rooted in logic. As a tutor, I strive to help students better understand complex problems and develop problem-solving skills. This mindset is obviously crucial for tests, but it also helps students develop analytical techniques that can benefit them in innumerable ways. Outside academics, I enjoy reading about current affairs, weight lifting, and of course, watching Netflix.
I'm Meghana and I'm currently a senior at Columbia University studying Industrial Engineering. Throughout college, I have been involved in an organization called Camp Kesem where I was a counselor for kids whose parents were affected by cancer. Through this I developed a sense of empathy and patients that I hope to utilize when tutoring students I work with. I have also had experience tutoring high school students one-on-one in a variety of subjects. Through this, I was able to come up with unique ways of teaching students complex subjects. I have taken intensive coursework and volunteered throughout college whether at the local hospital or campus event. If you need any help with Calculus AB, Calculus 3+4, any level of Algebra, Statistics, Probability, Biochemistry, or standardized examination prep I'm the tutor for you! I can help teach concepts, work on homework, or review for exams. Feel free to send me a contact request to chat. Hope to help you conquer any subjects you need assistance in!
