When teaching, I focus on helping students understand concepts that can be difficult grasp (i.e. subjunctive, pretreat vs. imperfect). The language is much easier to grasp when the student understands the "why" of a concept.I also studied law at Washburn University School of Law. I am a licensed attorney. Teaching Spanish is something that I really enjoy because I understand the process and it is rewarding to help people get over the conceptual humps along the way to fluency.
