I have 4+ years of teaching experience, both with teaching high school and college level students. I taught Writing and Rhetoric at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMUCC) from August 2018 to December of 2020, with my classes consisting of hybrid forms, fully online forms, and special international sections. In June of 2022, I was diagnosed with ADHD (inattentive/impulsive type) and immediately dove into research about Executive Functioning and ways to overcome my symptoms. I now share what I have learned and my stories of success with my students as an Executive Functioning coach here on VT. Over the years, I have worked with a large range of students, from students who are differently abled to students learning English as a second language. I have worked with students from all walks of life and view all students as equally worthy of education and support, even if they haven't received that support in the past.
