As a passionate tutor currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at the University of Waterloo, I have experience helping students excel in subjects like Algebra, Calculus, and Statistics. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and explore concepts at their own pace. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and I strive to connect with them by tailoring my approach to their individual learning styles. I am motivated by seeing my students grow in confidence and understanding, and I find joy in making complex topics accessible and engaging. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy exploring mathematical puzzles and applying math in real-world scenarios, which I often incorporate into my lessons to spark interest and curiosity.
