As a lifelong learner with over 20-years of experience in secondary and higher education, I am passionate about fostering a love for history and writing in my students. Holding a Master's degree in Library Science from San Jose State University and a Bachelor's in History, I specialize in AP U.S. Government & Politics, AP U.S. History, and English Grammar and Syntax. My teaching philosophy centers on one-on-one coaching, where I tailor my approach to meet each student's unique needs, helping them navigate the research process and develop critical thinking skills. I thrive on the excitement of discovery, both for myself and my students, and I believe that education is a collaborative journey. In addition to my academic pursuits, I enjoy reading, writing, and exploring history, which enriches my teaching and keeps my passion for learning alive.
