Elizabeth

Certified Tutor

For 28 years, I taught a variety of classes. Some of these classes include computer applications, web design, desktop publishing and English classes. My favorite class to teach was Science Fiction literature.
I have spent 10 years preparing students for the ELA Regents exam. When preparing students, I focus on one part of the exam at a time. I offer and demonstrate test taking techniques.
Before every session, I take an assessment to identify the areas to target.
My teaching philosophy is, "Less is more." Students learn best when they are given bite sizes of information. Once that information is learned well, then we move on to the next topic.

Everyone has the ability to learn. The key is to understand the best way each student learns.
