I am passionate about helping students discover the joy in learning mathematics, science, and social studies. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Physiology at the University of Alberta, I have over two years of tutoring experience, primarily focused on math and physics subjects such as Algebra, Calculus, and Geometry. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive environment where students can engage with the material through hands-on practice and active problem-solving. I believe that when students actively participate in their learning, they develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for the subject. My previous roles at Oxford Learning and Kumon have allowed me to tailor my approach to each student's unique needs, helping them build confidence and achieve academic success. Beyond tutoring, I enjoy exploring the intricacies of science and mathematics, which continuously fuels my enthusiasm for teaching.
