As a graduate student in Computer Science at Virginia Commonwealth University, I am passionate about tutoring students in mathematics and computer science, particularly SAT and AP subjects. With over two years of experience at Huntington Learning Center, I have developed a strong rapport with students aged 8 to 18, focusing on personalized learning strategies. My approach emphasizes understanding the underlying concepts of mathematicslike using the Pomodoro technique to enhance focusand equipping students with test-taking strategies for standardized exams. I believe in fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring challenging material. Witnessing their growth and improvement, especially in subjects like SAT math and AP Computer Science, drives my commitment to education. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy exploring data science and leveraging my interdisciplinary background in economics and computer science to connect with students on various topics.

With my mom being from the UK, I grew up watching BPL (go Fulham!!), but like my dad I'm also a huge US national team fan. I love playing guitar, and I've reviewed over 100 films on letterboxd. Right now, I'm on the 4th book of the Dune series and am in general a huge fan of science fiction and fantasy book and movies. This summer, I'm looking to create some video essays on books and movies I like to post on tiktok and youtube. Two places that are currently on my travel bucket lists are Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and Machu Picchu in Peru!
