I am a graduate of George Brown College. I have received my Early Childhood Education Diploma. Through multiple field placements and volunteer experiences in kindergarten and elementary school classrooms, I've gained hands-on experience helping students build foundational skills in reading, writing, and communication.
My passion lies in language and literacy. I enjoy guiding students as they discover the power of words, whether they are learning to recognize letters and sounds or writing their first stories. I find this work incredibly rewarding, especially when I get to see a child grow more confident and excited about learning.
My tutoring style is warm, supportive, and responsive to each learner's individual needs. I believe in making learning meaningful and engaging by combining structure with creativity by using visuals, games, storytelling, and hands-on activities to help students connect with the material. My teaching philosophy is centred on the idea that every child can thrive with the right support, encouragement, and tools.
