As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's of Education from the University of Western Ontario, I have over 2 years of tutoring experience and more than 25 years of classroom teaching experience. I specialise in teaching ESL, core French and conversational Spanish, and elementary subjects including English and Math. I have successfully worked with students with a variety of neurodivergent needs, including learning disabilities and mental health challenges. My teaching philosophy centres on adapting my methods to meet each student's unique learning needs, often starting with a diagnostic assessment to tailor my approach effectively. I find immense joy in witnessing students' growth, especially in early literacy and math, where their progress can be rapid and rewarding. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, swimming, pickleball, and exploring diverse cultures, which enriches my teaching and connection with students.
