I graduated from Temple University's Fox School of Business with a degree in Finance, and along the way, I found a real passion for helping others grow, both academically and professionally. I've been tutoring since high school, where I helped classmates in Algebra and Statistics, and even taught science to elementary school kids through an after-school program. In college, I continued that by becoming a teaching assistant for a Tableau course, helping students understand data visualization and apply it to real-world projects.
Outside of the classroom, I got involved with the Owl Fund, Temple's student-managed investment group, where I supported the developmental program by reviewing resumes and running mock interviews. I loved helping students tell their stories better, whether that was refining their bullet points or practicing how they'd respond under pressure. It was really rewarding to see so many of them land great internships and full-time roles because of the work we put in together.
When I work with students, I like to start by getting a clear sense of their strengths and weaknesses so we know where to focus. From there, I walk through the lesson step-by-step, making sure they're following along and feel comfortable asking questions at any point. I'll usually quiz them on what we've covered to check for understanding, and if something doesn't click, we take a step back and work through the part they're struggling with together. Once they've got a solid grasp and can answer questions confidently, we'll wrap up and set up another session to build on what we've covered. My goal is always to create a supportive, low-pressure space where learning feels approachable and progress feels achievable.
