I have been teaching elementary school in North Carolina for 12 years, specializing in Reading, Writing, and Special Education. I attended the State University of New York College at Geneseo, where I earned an undergraduate degree in the fields of Childhood and Special Education with a major in English. I also earned my graduate degree in Literacy Education there as well. I believe students are more than a test score, and I value a student-centered approach to education. My goal as a tutor is to present engaging lessons for students and encourage students to take accountability in their personal learning growth.
