As a graduate from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, I have been working as a tutor for over two years now. I have found it to be a very rewarding experience, not just for the students I teach, but also for myself. I love seeing students "get it" when they understand a lesson that's been difficult for them, and it makes me proud to see how I am making a difference for them. I have helped with students in college-level accounting and finance, as well as math homework, essay writing, and reading comprehension for elementary school students, among other areas. I know that not all students learn the same way, so I observe how they learn, and sometimes simplify their lessons to make things easier for them to understand. I am most passionate about math, specifically (pre)-algebra and statistics. In my spare time, I also like to watch movies, read books, and play board and card games.
