I am a military veteran and a Southern New Hampshire University master's graduate in English with a focus on creative writing. I also received my Bachelor of Music in the creative track program from Florida Atlantic University. Since graduation, I have combined my education to write a book about my experiences as a woman in the DJ/recording music industry. I love tutoring one-on-one to give a student my entirely focused attention. I am well-versed in essay writing, research papers, reading and comprehension, and English literature. I'm most passionate about creative writing to help students hone their craft in storytelling, including screenwriting, plays, short stories, and poetry. In my experience, I believe it's essential to break down a concept into its most simple form so that a student can digest it easily. I firmly believe that reading and writing are the most critical contributors that provide the tools to communicate effectively in life. The better you speak, the more successful you can attain work and personal life goals.
