Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). I received my Bachelor of Science in General Mathematics with a focus on math education. Since graduation, I have experience working as a full-time substitute teacher for Northside ISD and taught math courses throughout the school year. I am currently working on my certification tests to get certified as a math teacher. I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about elementary and middle school math, Algebra, and Geometry. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests, especially working on real world problems and using problem solving skills using numbers and variables. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students.
