In my role as a tutor, I am committed to creating an inspiring classroom setting where students' natural curiosity and thirst for knowledge can flourish. Motivated by a deep desire to see each student succeed, I modify my lessons to cater to their unique learning styles, encouraging self-assurance and intellectual development. I currently teach ENGL 103 at one our local universities. I have been named Teacher of the Year in two school districts. I possess a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Master's in English, and I am currently working on a Doctorate in Instructional Technology and Distance Education. I am honored to have taught students of all ages in my career as a public school teacher, reading coach, district reading specialist, and as an educational consultant. Beyond passing on facts and figures, I want my students to master transferable and applicable knowledge and skills. My extensive experience in K12 and higher education (college) allows me to approach each session with wisdom and insight. Let's learn together and turn obstacles into triumphs.
