I began my career after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Technical Education in 1995. Following my immigration to the U.S. in 2000, I gained valuable experience tutoring grades 1-5, which led me to pursue an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education.

My passion lies in English and the Science of Reading, where I have a proven track record of success. For example, I helped a fourth grader increase their reading level by two grades in just six months using targeted phonics, guided reading, and vocabulary strategies. My efforts have contributed to a 90% standardized test passing rate and numerous reading commendations. I utilize modern teaching methodologies such as differentiated instruction, project-based learning, and technology to meet the needs of all learners. I am also an experienced virtual reading tutor, adept at fostering engagement and social-emotional growth. Currently, I am in my final semester at Franklin University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Education to become a certified reading specialist.
