Working in EMS is a calling which few accept the challenge. I have worked as a math teacher, banker, and even a studio musician; but nothing has given me the sense of fulfillment as working in EMS has. Lives are literally in your hands and the discipline it takes to study and learn your craft are unmatched. I obtained my EMS certifications from the Texas A&M system and continue to learn from others in my trade. I have been blessed to have had great mentors as I entered EMS and I feel it is my turn to share my experience and knowledge with others wanting to answer the call. I am a current mentor and preceptor for my department and look forward to the challenge with supporting others through an online system.

I play guitar/piano/harmonica and play at different venues to give myself a different kind of excitement away from EMS. Visit family as often as I can as they are the best support systems you can have in this line of work.
