Simply put, I love to tutor students. In high school I launched a tutoring program for elementary school students. After college I launched a tutoring program at a public school in Washington, DC. While working at Duke University, I mentored students on ways to engage constructively on policy issues.
When working with students, I'm continually seeking those "a-ha" moments when students grasp a challenging concept. They now know that concept for life, and can use it as a tool to expand their knowledge base.

I love to write. Some days it's 5,000+ words. Most days it's 1,000-2,000. I've run a fantasy football blog for more than a decade, and it's ballooned into a community of thousands of engaged readers. I also enjoy conducting data-driven research projects on NFL player performance to isolate probabilities of future performance based on various metrics.
