I have always been fascinated with the sciences since a young age. During high school I found my passion in biology courses. I graduated from Laurentian University with a Bachelors Degree in Forensic Science, having completed a fourth-year thesis project in DNA quantification for Forensic purposes. While I loved learning about DNA and genetics, I found myself increasingly interested in wildlife and veterinary sciences (specifically Wildlife and Veterinary Forensics), so post-graduation I spent one month volunteering as a veterinary intern at a wildlife sanctuary in Cost Rica. This was the most amazing experience ever, and I believe it was then that I realized how much I loved learning new things and experiencing the world around me. Through tutoring, I hope to help others develop a love for learning, encouraging students to find (and pursue) their passion.

I have recently taken up karate, and I am currently a yellow belt! I also love yoga and hiking, and just spending time outdoors in general. I sometimes do drawing and painting as a hobby.
