Certified Tutor

I earned my bachelor's in science from Ohio Wesleyan University where I studied Astrophysics and Computer Science. Currently, I am working on getting a job in Data Analytics or IT. I have experience in grading physics labs and helping students understand the ways they should try thinking about experiments. I tutor multiple subjects including (Astro)Physics, Algebra, Pre-Calc, and Computer Science. I do these at high school and college level (CS only at HS level). People are all different in the way they approach problems, and sometimes, they will need assistance by using different approaches as well. I like to tutor by giving multiple ways for a student to get a grasp on things, and if that doesn't work, find a way to narrow down the kind of thinking they use/need. I believe that trust between the tutor and the student is also important. Trust that I will not ridicule you for asking any question you need or have the need to go over things multiple times or in different ways. The most important thing is that the student understands the content and does not just memorize it!

I spend my free time doing things like playing video games, watching movies, playing trading card games like Magic and Yugioh, and painting miniatures!
