Certified Tutor

I have been in education for 11 years- 9 years in the classroom and 2 years as an assistant principal. When I was in the classroom I taught PK, Kindergarten, and grades 4 and 5. I have experience teaching all elementary subjects as well as middle school math and ELA. While working as a teacher I also tutored students grades K-7 for all subjects during the summer and after school.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (PK-6), a Master of Science in Reading Education (K-12), and an Administration Certificate (K-12). I am also certified to teach ELA for grades K-8.

Recently I completed a full-stack software development program to become a software developer.

In addition to being an educator I paint, write a blog, hike with my dog, and read often. I also just completed a program for software development as well. I am always learning something new. I love playing video games, board games, and card games.
