Greetings. My name is Aria Shelton and I would describe my tutoring style as practical and student friendly. I take each of the standards and unpack them into small bite size parts. This helps me to figure out exactly what part of the standard that students need support with so that I can create a plan to address that specific issue. Within my style I create relevant connections within the content so that students can develop an understanding that makes sense to them. I use a variety of strategies while still staying consistent with the instruction that they are receiving in school. My style is one that builds academic success by securing a knowledge base and establishing appropriate relationships. It (my style) is systematic and fluid based on the curriculum and the needs of each individual student.
