My name is Steven B. Glass, Sr. I have dedicated my life investing in children for over twenty-five years. I believe children are the most precious investment and are the future to keep our country and world strong. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Rust College with a minor in English, which is my best subject. I earned Certification in Special Education from the University of Mississippi.
I would love to tutor students in the areas of reading, grammar, writing, and study skills.
My teaching philosophy is that I believe that all students can learn if their individual needs are met. I believe in the art and science teaching. As the tutor, I will follow a framework of organized steps to present lessons and they are: prior learning or anticipatory set, presentation of the lesson, guided practice, check for understanding, closure, and independent practice. Then, of course, I will provide solutions to problems with homework.
