My current tutoring subject is English. This includes reading, writing, language arts skills, SAT prep, organization skills, and ESL.

I have previously taught English at the high school level (9th grade and 9th-grade HONORS, 10th grade and 10th-grade HONORS, and 11th grade).

I have previously taught summer school and tutored students who needed writing assistance and SAT practice. I got my Bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan where I recently finished my Master's degree in creating curricula and designing instructional strategies.

I love reading and writing which allows me to bring a passion for it to my students and their learning. The best part about my job is creating positive relationships with my students which creates a positive learning experience.

I love reading mysteries and thrillers. My favorite author at the moment is Collen Hoover. I also enjoy reading Youn Adult Fiction so I can keep up with new literature my students might be exposed to. I have a one-year-old son who loves being outdoors as much as I do, so when I'm not working, I am making sure he isn't eating everything in sight.
