Certified Tutor

I hold a BA and BS from California State University, Northridge, a pre-medicine certificate from UCLA, MD from St. George's University and have completed my medical residency in Internal Medicine. I have a passion for science and I hope to one day practice as an intensivist.

I began tutoring in high school when I tutored elementary school students in German. During my studies at UCLA, I tutored middle school students in Southern California as part of the Boys and Girls Club. While in medical school I was hired by my university to tutor pre-medicine and MD students. I was previously a tutor for Varsity tutors prior to beginning residency.

I love tutoring all types of science but my favorite subjects to tutor are anatomy and neuroscience because they feel like solving puzzles and they are closely related to critical care. I honored my NBME exams during medical school and have passed both USMLE Step 1, Step 2 Ck, and Step 3. I recently completed my Internal Medicine Board Exam.

I have a strong passion for teaching pre-med and medical students because the material can feel very dense and overwhelming. I find ways to break down the material into smaller chunks to help maximize understanding of topics.

I love teaching students because everyone deserves the same opportunities to further their future. It is a great feeling when a student can say they not only scored well on exams but that they truly understand the material.
