Certified Tutor

My interest in education stems from my love of learning and the fact that I mostly enjoyed being a student during my years in school. I naturally gravitated toward tutoring and teaching because of their creative aspects. Since we all learn differently, I believe lessons should follow suit.

And although I have followed the path of education workwise, I received my degree from the University at Albany as an East Asian Studies major and an English minor because of my love of culture and language.

I feel that other languages are not only fun but important, so I spent two years in China teaching ESL to middle schoolers though I didn't know the language. It gave me the opportunity to learn as much as my students were learning every day.

The majority of my experience is in teaching students of a younger age, but I have taught those of all ages so that I can be comfortable with whichever.
