I have been a classroom teacher for over 27 years with 17 of those years in Pre-K to second grade. I received my M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education with additional work as a Reading Specialist in the State of Texas. I enjoy helping young readers see their capabilities and realize that "they are a reader." I have taught many remedial readers in my classroom. I am professionally trained in Orton-Gillingham intervention for dyslexic/remedial readers.
