I am a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor's degree in Communications.

I am a lifelong learner myself and bring that excitement and passion to the classroom. I have been tutoring Math and English online for 3 years now and I love sharing my passion for learning with my students. I have great inter-personal skills that takes into account the whole learner. I am kind, communicative and always looking to build a positive personal relationship with my students so they can be relaxed and be in the best state to learn.

In January 2022 I got a Foundational Reading, Fiction and Non-fiction Reading CERTIFICATE (a 12 hour course) from the Teacher's College at Columbia University "Literacy Tutoring". This course enhanced my phonics training, comprehension teaching, and fluency assessment and English teaching skills.

The experiences of working for CBS news in Tallahassee and traveling to 34 countries when working for Delta Airlines, made history alive for me, it highlighted the importance and value of language to connect people and it revealed the power of culture to inform one's identity.

I believe everyone has a divine portion of talent and the ability to reach their full potential. I am an B1 speaker of Spanish and an A1 speaker of Chinese. I studied Spanish in Spain and Guatemala and have learned Chinese at home.
