I attended Wake Forest University and received a bachelor's in elementary education. I have been teaching in the classroom for 6 years, mostly in 4th grade. I enjoy teaching with manipulatives and hands-on learning. I work hard to meet students where they are to build confidence and grow the skills they need for success.

I am a lifelong learner and I enjoy exploring new places and learning new things every day. When I am not in the classroom I enjoy hiking and camping with my family, including our 2 dogs. I also love puzzles in any form - jigsaw puzzles, sudoku, logic problems, or word puzzles.
