Hello! My name is Jacob Pleasure and I have worked in education for six years, all subjects within the umbrella of English being my specialties. I grew up as a slow processor, so I understand the importance of centralizing student preference and pace, letting that approach guide my tutoring approach. My resume demonstrates the wide variety of contexts in which I have worked, taking on responsibilities such as creating curriculums and lesson plans for full-scale, rigorous high school courses and privately tutoring elementary-level students in English literacy, grammar and vocabulary. I also speak Spanish at an advanced level and have a basic knowledge of most other subjects. Most importantly though, I can't wait to hear how I can help the students I encounter on this platform to achieve academic success!
