I earned my BA in Psychology, MA in Counseling, and pk-4 Louisiana Teacher's Certification all from Louisiana Tech University. I have been a classroom teacher for 12 years. I have tutored students ranging from 4-16 years of age. I especially love teaching students to read and develop a love of reading. Reading is integrated into each content area and can be a very helpful, fun hobby. I am a very patient teacher and enjoy getting to know each student. I enjoy spending time outdoors, photography, and pets. I believe every student has a smart mind. An attentive teacher who is patient and well qualified can get to know each student and help them be a successful learner.
