I am graduating from Tennessee Technological University in May 2022 with my Bachelor of Science with a focus on Elementary Education. I received my Associate's degree in Elementary Education at Pellissippi State Community College in 2020. I am an Activities Instructor at an afterschool program, which is where I tutor students in grades 1-5. While I tutor all Elementary subjects, I am most passionate about English and Math. In my experience, each student requires a different level of support from their tutor. I make it a priority to get to know each student to determine what their needs are and how I can support those needs. I am a life long learner because I believe that it enhances our understanding of the world around us and provides us with more opportunities to improve our quality of life. I aim to inspire this same love for learning in all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking the nearby mountains, baking with loved ones, and playing with my dogs!

Hobbies

My hobbies include hiking, baking, and dancing. Over the summer I hiked to the top of Mt Le Conte, the trail is 10 miles all together and took 6 hours. I love to bake because I worked at a bakery for over a year and learned how to decorate cakes. I was also a dancer for 9 years, during this time I preformed twice in the Nutcracker at the Tennessee Theatre.
