Aletha
Certified Tutor
I hold a B.A. in Speech Communication with a focus in Theater from Shippensburg University. Since graduating, I've taught across elementary, secondary, and special needs education as a substitute teacher, and more recently, I've been tutoring students from preschool through high school in a variety of subjects. My passion lies in teaching beginner piano, music theory (3rd grade and up), reading, English literature, history, and creative writing. I specialize in helping struggling students overcome learning challenges and reach their full potential. I also incorporate the principles of the Law of Assumption into my teaching, encouraging students to use imagination and inner dialogue to shape their academic success. With persistence and conscious thought, achievement becomes not just possiblebut inevitable.

I find joy in walking and spending time in nature—it grounds me and fuels my creativity. Playing the piano is one of my greatest passions and a true creative outlet. I deeply value my relationships with family and friends, seeing them as life’s true treasures. I enjoy connecting with others, making new friends, and building meaningful relationships. Coaching and mentoring, both personally and professionally, brings me immense fulfillment and purpose.
