Hello! My name is Marissa Reiken and I am so excited to be rejoining the Varsity Tutors team! I am a 7th grade math teacher in the Indianapolis Public School System. I have my Bachelor's from Butler University in Elementary Education (K-6) with Licensure in STEM education and 5-9 Mathematics. I have experience teaching ENL (English as a New Language) learners as well as teaching students with learning disabilities. I know that each student is an individual and I will meet students where they are at and try my best to tailor their learning to their needs and interests. I love creating real connections with students and helping them feel confident in who they are and what they can achieve!
