Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of North Florida, with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in elementary education. I love working with kids and seeing them flourish as they learn, explore, and grow. I have had the privilege of working with many students from lots of different backgrounds. After teaching in the public school system, both in-person and online, I became self employed by providing families with in-home private teaching and tutoring. This became very helpful for families during school closures throughout the Coronavirus pandemic. Not only have I worked with many students and families, but I have also specialized in aiding students with various exceptionalities and physical needs by accommodating and partnering with them to best equip them in their future goals.
In my opinion, having fun is the best way for our kids to learn, even if it's through a screen! I always try to incorporate this truth into the classrooms I've taught in and the organizations I've volunteered with. Within the public schools, I have worked in classrooms with students from ages 4-12 and have professionally taught all subjects in an elementary school setting, with each class averaging about 20 students. I have been able to deliver content ranging from different types of animals to different forms of energy. We've learned by playing games, drawing, acting, and experimenting. I've worked with many students and families to better their education. Join me to make learning engaging and fun in this online setting too!
