I am a graduate of Mt. St. Mary's University and McDaniel College. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communications and then gained teacher certification in grades 1 through 8, and high school English. Additionally, I have a Master's Equivalency in Education-related courses and a Master's in Library Media. I have taught English and History for the past 28 years in both private and public schools. I have also traveled extensively to 26 foreign countries with students, thus enriching my teaching and their learning. While I can tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Literature, and History. As a tutor, my mission would be to empower students to become passionate, life-long learners. I enjoy reading, hiking, horseback riding, yoga, working with my dogs, and being in nature in my spare time.
