In June 2020, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Central Washington University. I received my BA in Psychology, as well as minors in Human Resources Management and Interdisciplinary Honors. I am currently working towards my Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification and preparing to apply to graduate programs for Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have extensive experience leading study groups and helping classmates and peers learn difficult concepts. My past two jobs have also involved mentoring students, providing support and resources for the people in my program. For two years, I served on a committee that assessed student application essays, offering feedback and edits prospective students. I have a great passion for a wide range of psychology subjects, from social psychology to neuroscience. I even completed my senior capstone project by conducting my own psychology research study on stress and mood! I am available to tutor any subject relating to psychology as well as a range of areas in English and Writing. I am patient, approachable, and excited to share my love for psychology and academic writing with students! I believe anyone is capable of learning, no matter how difficult the subject may seem. Every individual has their own learning style which should be accommodated by tutors and educators. Outside of tutoring, I love traveling to new places, hiking with my friends, walking my dog, and joining dance fitness classes!
