I am a graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Entomology and a Masters Degree in the Art of Teaching. I am very passionate about science, especially insects and chemistry. After receiving my B.S. in Entomology, I conducted research for several years in agricultural pests as well as mosquitoes. I really wanted to share my knowledge and passion for science with others so I decided to go back to Iowa State University to get my Masters in teaching. I have been teaching for 5 years and have taught 7th grade science, 8th grade science, Chemistry (Honors and AP) and Biology 2. I love teaching and believe that education plays a pivotal role in opening up many doors in life and gives students the opportunity to be successful.
