Certified Tutor

I have been an educator in grades K-5 for the past 12 years in Elementary and Special Education. I received my Bachelor's degree in both Elementary and Special Education from Indiana University. I then received by Master's Degree in Proactive Discipline from Butler University. Most recently, I have been a Social Emotional Learning coach for my school district serving staff and students in 8 Elementary schools. I can support students with ALL needs in math, literacy, science, social studies and social and emotional learning! I have experience private tutoring in all academic areas and Social Emotional learning as well. My teaching philosophy is to allow learners to explore through an inquiry through a trusting environment in which they have a strong relational connection with their teacher along with providing high rigorous instruction. In my freetime I enjoy being outdoors with my family including my husband, five year old son and our white lab! I am excited to learn and grow with you!
