I am a machine learning engineer with over 5 years' experience building mathematical models to solve industry wide problems. I am passionate about mathematics and passing this knowledge to the next generation. I became interested in math while earning my BSc. in Actuarial Science in Nebraska. I was fascinated by the way math professionals' use numbers to solve modern problems using very creative ways. I believe, for everyone, this passion begins ground up with basics in a normal academic setting.
I want to take the next step and teach what I have acquired to someone else and hopefully spend my later years as a professor at a good university. I appreciate that Varsity tutors offers online classes and part-time study that allows for students to come learn when they can. This online option helps me devote the time I need to excel at teaching.
