Hi! My name is MaryClaire. I am living in Fort Worth TX! I grew up in Northern California and moved to Texas to attend college at Texas Christian University. I graduated in 2017 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. The following spring of 2018, I graduated again with a Masters in Curriculum Studies.

I started my first official teaching job the following Fall as a 1st grade classroom teacher at a charter school. teaching 1st grade has been a wild adventure and so much fun!

Through my first two years of teaching I have discovered my passion for teaching students how to read through phonics and guided reading strategies.

I believe that every student learns in a unique way, just as each student is unique in their own way. Positive reinforcement and encouragement go a long way with elementary students and help motivate them to learn and grow to their full potential.
