Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate of Nevada State College, with a Bachelor's majoring in Biology, with a concentration in Cell & Molecular Biology. I also have a double minor in Chemistry and History. During my studies, I worked in an embedded peer support program called the Course Assistant Program. For the duration of a semester we were placed in one course and provided biweekly group study sessions, 1-on-1 tutoring, and peer mentoring. Supporting my students in and out of their class and watching them succeed using the tools I taught them was one of the most rewarding experiences I've had. I'm eager to be able to help more students outside of the campus community that trained me. My favorite subjects to tutor is Biology because I am passionate about the subject in my own studies and future goals. I plan on applying to a post-graduate education program to earn a dual degree in Immunology, specializing in infection studies.
