I love to teach! The intrinsic rewards are immeasurable! I have such a passion to see individuals reach their maximum potential. Sometimes it takes a little more effort for some rather than others, but having a tutor, coach, mentor or just someone who is on your side of success certainly helps. Sooooo..teaching wasn't my first career. Actually, being a trainer at a major corporation was. There I discovered I loved being able to share information with people that would help them be more effective on their jobs. I changed careers 15 years ago becoming an elementary teacher and haven't looked back since. During that time, I've worked with all age groups from toddler (Early Intervention Specialist) to Elementary (General and Special Education) to HS (After school & college bound programs) and College students (English Comp and Developmental Studies). I feel fortunate to have been able to touch so many lives in a positive way helping them get a step closer to their ultimate dreams for success in life. This is why I love what I do, and why all these years later, I still have the same energy and passion to teach as I did when I first began.
