Since the day I chose to pursue my degree in teaching and began working for the Department of Education back in 2008 as a paraprofessional, I have been driven by passion and my commitment to define and address the needs of each student. Today, as a classroom teacher, I spend countless extra hours in my classroom planning and preparing. I do it with pleasure because my students deserve my best. I aim to maximize individual student performance, inspire students' interest in learning and spread a sense of high self-worth among all students. New York schools have earned a positive reputation for celebrating diversity and achieving academic excellence.
