I'm a recent graduate from Central Connecticut State University's English B.A. program. While I haven't tutored before Varsity Tutors, I spent much of my time at school peer-editing, teaching music in a cappella rehearsals, and helping friends and classmates with their academic issues.
I am a firm believer that an English tutor is not there to tell their student how to understand the text or make essay edits for them, but to provide them with the tools and background information necessary for them to figure out their own interpretations and make their own edits.
While the reading and writing of books is my passion, I also have deep love for music, cats, and travel.
