Teaching is my passion. I have more than 6 years of teaching experience during my Masters and PhD in Chemistry at University of South Florida. I have taught students studying in middle school, high school and Undergraduates. Having been called a good "explainer" all throughout my life I realized that being a good teacher does not depend on the amount of knowledge you acquire but the approach you take to explain a concept how so ever tough it is to someone such that the person understands it in a way that he will be able to explain it to someone else easily. I found it much easier to grasp a concept after I explained it to someone and thus this continuous process helped me grow as a person, acquire and understand knowledge and also grow a paradigm for the teaching process. Wilbert James McKeachie in his book "Teaching Tips" says "Professors known as outstanding lecturers do two things; they use a simple plan and many examples". With every student I have taught I have realized that I learnt something new and with every class there was always a different approach I needed to take for teaching.
