Hello, I have earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University, a MA in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a PhD in Information Science (emphasis in Education.) from the University of North Texas.

When I am not camping or building campers, I love to bring humor and creativity to the learning learning experience. I have been teaching others since I was 15 years old (bible, math, science, life skills). People who I have taught comment on how relaxed they felt and how I presented the subject in a way that was not intimidating.

I like to talk with a person and get a feel for their learning intelligence (how they best receive information). In this way, I can adapt my instruction for the best fit of the learner.

I have tutored people of all ages to help them achieve their goals whether it was passing a class in middle school or studying for a medical aid certification after being out school for 20+years.

My love language is giving gifts, so it is no surprise that I love to help people learn. Giving a person the gift of skills to help them become triumphant over a challenging subject matter is a tremendous gift because it often involves overcoming fear and building self-confidence!
