I am a retired professional with a degree from Michigan State University. I have experience as a substitute teacher at the elementary and middle school grade levels. I have focused on English and reading. I like to think of myself as a grammar perfectionist and often tell my students "I didn't make the grammar rules, I just enforce them".
I think it is important to keep learning fun and exciting. It should never be boring or a "chore" to learn. I have found that my keeping the atmosphere "light" the student is more receptive to learning.
