I am a highly trained elementary school teacher with experience teaching multiple grade levels, and I am excited by the opportunity to work as a tutor. I have a history of creating interactive lessons, and I am confident I could step in and immediately make an impact and help your child reach their academic goals. My objective as a teacher is to cultivate a positive learning environment for all my students, and my experience aligns with the qualifications needed for a tutor. My experience at my most recent school has afforded me a well-rounded skill set, including communication, organization, motivation skills, and flexibility. I excel in the following areas: Developing creative lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse students Efficiently managing classroom behavior and procedures to optimize learning Student engagement through a learning menu and small group instruction Grade level leader who serves as the liaison to support staff Meeting with parents and other school staff to coordinate academic and behavior improvement plans Continues to expand knowledge of current best practices through professional development In the course of my work, I have worked closely with other staff to improve learning opportunities and have also implemented positive changes in my own classroom to better serve my students. Additionally, I have a calm and caring demeanor with my students which is beneficial for all grades.
